CM Chapman’s collection of three short stories, MUSIC & BLOOD (Latham House Press, 2016) will be released on Feb 21, and is available now for online pre-order via the form below.

Reservation requests will be answered with an emailed invoice.  When printed invoice is returned with payment, reserved copies will be mailed out same-day beginning Wednesday, February 22.  Latham House Press pays shipping.

Music & Blood, a collection of short fiction by CM Chapman, will be the second chapbook release from Latham House Press.  Cover art is by letterpress artist Laura Baisden (Camp Nevernice Letterpress Design, Knoxville TN).  Book design is by graphic artist Phil McCollam, who also designed the cover and interior layout for Erin Veith’s poetry chapbook I Closed My Eyes To Tell That Story (Latham House Press 2014).  Music & Blood will include the stories “Clem, The Cabot County Cannibal,” “Wolves,” and “Modest Mussorgsky’s Bluegrass Jug Band Blog.”

CM Chapman’s fiction has appeared in numerous print and online journals, including the Kentucky ReviewBird’s Thumb, and Rose Red Review.  Joyce Carol Oates and Albert Goldbarth selected CM’s story “The Moth Under The Stair” as a finalist for december magazine’s 2015 Curt Johnson Prose Award.  

A poster print of the book cover will also be available for purchase.  The first ten book orders will be accompanied by a free poster print.

Latham House Press launch reading: Poet Erin Veith, 7 July 2014

Poet Erin Veith will read from her collection I Closed My Eyes To Tell That Story on Monday, 7 July 2014, at Annie Merner Pfeiffer Library on the WV Wesleyan College campus, at 7:00pm.  Copies of the book will be available for purchase at $12.

The evening reading will also serve as the official public launch of Latham House Press. This event, part of WVWC’s MFA Summer Residency reading series, is free and open to the public.
